The City Next Door is back in full form and we could not be happier that Abruzzo International Airport and Ryanair have announced their route availability for spring-summer 2024. There will be 16 routes in total including Barcelona, London, Prague, Alghero, Catania, Malta, Brussels, Frankfurt, Bucarest, Varsavia, Cracovia, Trapani, Memmingen, Dusseldorf. It also includes Bergamo and Turin as local destinations.

This is great news for Abruzzo! With an estimated 120 flights per week during the spring and summer season this year, the addition of Frankfurt Hahn and further investments in new planes we expect the region to have more visitors in 2024, which makes us happy as more people will get to experience first hand the wonders of our beloved Abruzzo.

If you need some inspiration to start planning your trip to Abruzzo we have plenty of articles to get you started, whether it’s going to the beach (5 beaches in Abruzzo you cannot miss this summer), mountains (The Maiella UNESCO Global Geopark, a step towards sustainability) or visiting the cute little Italian towns (the most beautiful villages in Pescara), have a browse and start booking your trip!
