In this occasion we were walking around the Borough Market and we were so pleased to find the Oilve Oil Co store. It specialises mainly in olive oil of course, and also in balsamic vinegar. We couldn’t resist and we got a bottle of Pretuziano delle Colline Termane, an exquisite olive oil from Abruzzo that goes with everything
We found this rare white Abruzzese wine made from Passerina grapes. The name of the wine is due to the sparrow that enjoys eating them! It’s a really fresh white wine and can be served with chicken or sea food.
FETTUCCINE MADE IN ABRUZZO
It makes us happy when we find new products made in Abruzzo around London! It makes us feel closer to our beloved region. Walking around North London, we found Fettuccine Rustichella d’Abruzzo in a small local shop. With this traditional pasta shape, you can’t go wrong if you are planning a special dinner. Good news! You can get them online as well.
Definitely the place with more “Abruzzesi” products on London so far. Eataly offers a wide selection of wines that goes from the classic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, to the Trebbiano and Pecorino.
